RA Ministry of culture and “Expomedia” performed “Art Expo 2011” exhibition on 11 and 12 of February 2011 in RA Painters’ Society. This arts exhibition performed by the ministry of culture in the third time which is called to present the homeland cultural achievements to art sphere professionals, interested companies and art loving public, this time showed not only the programs performed in 2010, but also with 2011 projects and ideas. In this year February 11-12 “Art Expo 2011” participated about 50 state, public and private cultural companies.
In the first floor of Painters’ House museums, theatrical concert companies, festivals in 47 pavilions showed the modern art’s different branches: native traditional art, cultural education achievements and as well as 2010 jubilees: full translations of publications, albums and CD's.
On the second stage were presented historical cultural legacy sphere: scientific researches done during 2010, excavations programs for rehabilitation of memorials.
On the third floor 16 cultural companies showed movies, different educational programs, game-excursions and lectures. In the exhibition lobby in separate pavilions were presented also souvenirs, stamps, books.
The opening of “Art Expo 2011” started with performance of national dancing groups, hereditary dances and high mood in the square named after Charles Aznavour.
